InCap Partners with ESiC to Strengthen Asia-Pacific Electronics Procurement in China

In late January 2024, as we were celebrating the Chinese New Year, ESiC also welcomed a delegation from an important client, InCap, who came to China to visit the ESiC team and Chinese suppliers. The delegation from InCap included the CEO of the Finnish headquarters and the Group Purchasing President, as well as the purchasing director and purchasing engineer from the Slovak factory.

InCap Introduction: Persisting in Cultivating in China

InCap was founded in 1985 and was listed on the Helsinki Stock Exchange in 1997. Its main business is electronic and component assembly. It has set up factories in Estonia, India, Slovakia, the United Kingdom and the United States respectively to support the demands of customers in different regions around the world.

InCap has unwavering confidence in the competitiveness of China’s manufacturing industry. They have been committed to tapping the potential of Chinese suppliers and leveraging the advantages of the industrial chain to enhance the competitiveness of their products in the market. They have taken a keen interest in ESiC’s professional procurement team, its high-quality and complete supply chain, and its efficient and convenient procurement system. As a result, they chose ESiC as their partner to handle the procurement of electronic components and various types of parts throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

Visiting and exchanging, enhancing understanding

During this visit, we arranged for the clients to visit seven supplier factories within four days. These suppliers provide different product categories to the clients, including aluminum extrusion and machining factories, injection molding factories, die-cutting component factories, sheet metal and stamping factories, electronic connector factories, and small transformer factories. This enabled the clients to have a comprehensive understanding of the production processes and quality control measures of our suppliers.

The technical experts from both the supply and demand sides seized this opportunity to conduct in-depth technical discussions. The customers raised their own questions regarding the process, equipment and quality control requirements, while the suppliers answered them one by one to eliminate the customers’ doubts. At the same time, they humbly accepted the customers’ suggestions for improvement and aimed to ensure better results in future cooperation. Face-to-face communication deepened the understanding and recognition between the two sides; the exchange of technical and professional knowledge enhanced mutual appreciation and trust. The customers expressed their desire to continue strengthening cooperation and introducing more new projects.

Strengthen cooperation and jointly create the future.

This visit marks a further advancement in the cooperative relationship between ESiC and InCap, a globally leading customer. Through in-depth cooperation discussions, both parties have reached an agreement and decided to establish a long-term partnership. In future cooperation, we will jointly strive to develop more advanced, reliable and comprehensive component suppliers to help the company enhance product quality and cost competitiveness. Moreover, we will carry out more cooperation in the procurement system, making the inquiry process intelligent, supplier review systematic, and quality control electronic.

In the current economic backdrop where some Western countries advocate decoupling and risk mitigation, the relocation of supply chains has led to a greater surplus of production capacity in domestic manufacturing. In recent project developments, overseas purchasers have more choices of suppliers in China and can obtain competitive quotations.

Both the client and we believe that the cooperation between us will bring more opportunities for innovation and development, and will help InCap to grow further and enhance its influence in the EMS industry.

ESiC will place greater emphasis on providing sourcing services for overseas customers in China. We will continuously enhance our professional competence and competitiveness, and further expand the market for customer demands and the pool of suppliers.
