ESiC’s e-Sourcing Platform Wows Experts at SCOM 2019 Supply Chain Conference

On November 23, 2019, the 8th SCOM China Supply Chain and Operations Managers Conference was held at Jiangbin Road in Shanghai. The theme of the annual conference was “New Intelligent Manufacturing, New Challenges, New Strategies, New Breakthroughs”. More than 400 supply chain managers from Beijing, Nanjing, Wuhan, Suzhou, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, North America and Europe gathered together in Shanghai. They exchanged ideas with experts from various fields and enjoyed a sumptuous feast ranging from macro to detailed and professional development.

Fengzhi (ESiC) Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. participated in this annual meeting as a partner and presented the e-Sourcing Procurement Management Cloud Platform in front of a group of supply chain management professionals. It received attention and praise from the professionals.

During the communication process, everyone was very pleasantly surprised to learn that:

ESiC’s e-Sourcing is an SRM system developed by procurement experts, which is different from other systems developed by IT personnel. It has a higher and broader level in the construction of the system architecture, and more profound and practical technical processing at the operational level. The e-Sourcing system is comprehensive yet not complex, with a clean and friendly user interface and simple usability.

ESiC e-Sourcing is a truly holistic solution. ESiC’s talent team possesses cross-domain practical knowledge – from procurement management to software development and implementation. ESiC provides customers with a one-stop service ranging from requirement analysis to design, development, deployment and implementation, and customer care. Throughout the process, it relies on the cross-domain skills of its own expert team to address all customer demands, never outsourcing any part to a third party. This ensures that every step of the system implementation process is part of an integrated system with a common genetic inheritance.

What is even more astonishing to all the supply chain management experts is:

In ESiC’s e-Sourcing system, an e-Sourcing module for procurement strategy has been planned and developed. It provides system tools to guide procurement managers in conducting procurement strategy planning, aligning procurement strategies with the company’s business goals, and formulating specific strategic action plans. Everyone is amazed that ESiC’s e-Sourcing is the first (perhaps the only) system in the SRM market to have developed the procurement strategy management function.

In the e-Sourcing system of ESiC, an innovative NPI module has been specially developed to interface with the PLM/ERP systems of enterprises. This module helps enterprises leverage the procurement (supplier) resources at the earliest stage of product development, providing a system platform for them to accelerate research and development and invite suppliers to participate in innovation collaboration.

The e-Sourcing system has not only attracted the attention of manufacturing industry professionals, but also aroused great interest among friends in the logistics industry. They hope to leverage the “electronic bidding module” and “reverse bidding module” of e-Sourcing to achieve fair, impartial and transparent bidding operations, and to help enterprises find ideal logistics partners.

Ms. Jia, a doctoral student currently studying at Lancaster University in the UK, has also shown great interest in the unique features of e-Sourcing. She hopes to gain a more detailed understanding of the specific cases of ESiC Technology’s providing SRM consulting services to clients, which can be used for academic analysis and discussion.

The SCOM Annual Conference was centered on supply chain managers and the selection of topics was very carefully planned. After a day of intense agenda, the participants listened to several excellent keynote speeches. They not only learned the latest and most cutting-edge knowledge of supply chain management but also discovered unique platform systems such as e-Sourcing and Smart Operations. At 5 p.m., the conference concluded successfully in a warm and friendly atmosphere, leaving everyone with a lingering sense of satisfaction.
