In this upcoming Christmas season, the launch of Coman e-Sourcing is another warm and exciting good news, just as the spirit of Christmas is love and trust, we believe that the spirit of Christmas will also bring good luck to Comen.
We are honored to get to know KOMen’s procurement team and have the opportunity to make a small contribution to the digital transformation of Comen’s procurement. Today, two weeks after the launch of Comen-Sourcing, I want to carefully reflect on the online bit by bit, leaving a little memorial for each other, congratulating Comen on the successful launch of the same time, but also bless the efforts of the ESiC team will eventually have a harvest!
In the meeting room for Comen online training, I heard the knife manager casually comment on the computer screen, “Good, high communication efficiency, one will understand; The system interface style is simple, the operation is simple and easy to understand, unlike other systems that are hard to understand and difficult to operate.” My colleague Apple and I silently looked at each other at the same time, and we were suddenly affirmed by the customer, which made us very pleased.
Here’s an excerpt from Comen’s company website: Comen Medical, headquartered in Guangming, Shenzhen, is a medical equipment enterprise engaged in physiological monitoring, ECG diagnosis, ultrasonic maternal and child monitoring, respiratory anesthesia, infant care and operating room equipment in six fields, more than 60% of the domestic top three hospitals are using the medical equipment produced and developed by Comen, in the physiological monitoring market almost occupies half of the position of China…
What attracts me most is the last sentence: Comen has grown from a small business with less than eight people to a well-known medical equipment supplier, thanks to the spirit of Comen people. It is the corporate culture of ideal, honor and struggle that supports the continuous development of Comen. “
We have experienced this spirit in the course of the Comen project.
The project launch meeting arrived as scheduled. We all went to the 11F conference room of Comen Office Building under the leadership of Jenny, the leader of the company. When we crossed the corridor, the first thing we saw was a spacious and bright studio, where various testing instruments were placed neatly in rows on the workbench of the testing room. The staff wearing white overalls keep shuttling back and forth in a variety of testing instruments and testing data, quiet and yet busy, this scale of testing equipment is rarely seen in conventional enterprises, I seem to see the memory of Foxconn South China inspection center.
The launch meeting went very smoothly. Both leaders expressed their expectations and wishes for e-Sourcing, and the ultimate goal of our project consultants is to achieve these expectations and wishes through the e-Sourcing system. Achieve what customers expect – reduce supply chain duplication through system efficiencies, ensure process compliance, and do a good job of transferring and depositing business data.
After the launch meeting, the project was carried out according to the established project plan of both sides, and there was relatively much work in the demand analysis stage. I sorted out all the documents and materials provided by the customer one by one and summarized the difference table, which would be of great help to our team to quickly understand the current situation of Comen’s supply chain and system matching. At the same time, in the process of demand analysis, systematic user stories are collected for customers, and it is also a collection and combing process of “eight-line dialectical treatment after consultation” for customers’ supply chain status and pain points.
The overall project progress is progressing smoothly with the support of the Comen team. Jenny told me that she was always available when I needed her.
I really appreciate the sharing and leadership of Mr. Tang, the experienced manager of Comen Procurement, who insisted on attending every project meeting; Thanks to the pragmatic and patient Dao manager, who is full of patience, understanding and support for every project communication; Thanks to the active participation of the Comen Supply Chain team and the quality team, without your support, the project would not have gone smoothly.
In the days of contact with Comen for only 100 days, we have a deep experience of the friendship, acceptance, enthusiasm and struggle culture of the Comen team. The team members respond quickly, the execution is strong, and the questions asked are not more than 12 hours to get feedback. The supply chain team with the spirit of service cooperation is an important support force for the growing development of Comen.
In these 100 days, with the strong support and cooperation of the Comen team, we have completed key milestones such as project start-up, demand and difference analysis, business plan confirmation and implementation, and online training. The phased success of the system launch is a step closer to our implementation goals, and it is an important step for Comen to achieve digital supply chain management.
Victory banquet
Why do companies do SRM? As Comen said at the project mobilization meeting: “The enterprise needs compliance, the process needs solidification, the staff needs to return to work, the work needs efficiency, and the procurement staff needs to meet the arrival of the e-Sourcing system with a positive attitude and embrace change.”
What we do is nothing more than to help enterprises better understand the contribution of procurement to the business level of the company, align the procurement strategy with the company’s vision and goals, sort out the process, pay more attention to the upstream process, and implement the best procurement practices through the system to improve efficiency and enhance value.
Best wishes for Comen again!
