On November 9th, the SRM project launch meeting of VINNO e-Sourcing was successfully held in VINNO Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. in Suzhou Industrial Park. General Manager Gao of VINNO led the managers of supply chain, procurement, IT and other departments as well as relevant colleagues, and Vice President Lisa (Chen Dan Yue) of ESiC led the project team to attend the meeting.

General Manager Gao outlined the vision and expectations for the future development of VINNO regarding digital system management, and put forward specific requirements on how to provide stronger support for the company’s technological innovation through digital transformation. ESiC team shared with everyone the various forms, applications and values of purchasing digital systems, as well as the experience of implementing previous SRM projects.

VINNO is a provider of digital color ultrasound equipment and medical information solution. It is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the research and development, production and sales of high-end digital color ultrasound diagnostic instruments and related technologies. The company has received honors such as “National High-tech Enterprise”, “Jiangsu Province’s Entrepreneurship and Innovation Leading Talent”, and “Jiangsu Province’s Excellent Enterprise”. Venerable Vice Premier of the State Council, relevant departments of the State, leaders from Jiangsu Province, Suzhou City and other places, as well as relevant experts across the country have visited and inspected the company on multiple occasions and highly affirmed it.

ESiC SRM provides stable system support for VINNO’s procurement team to achieve digital transformation, which will help VINNO continuously scale new heights on the path of technological innovation.

At the kick-off meeting, Mr. Fei Yinan, the General Manager of Fei Yinan Group, delivered a speech stating: Fei Yinan is an innovative enterprise. The changes and the focus are on R&D. Sourcing serves R&D. The SRM system is the inevitable trend. Fei Yinan hopes to professionalize business processes through the system, enhance its supplier management capabilities and standardize procurement behaviors. The current Chinese market demands rapid response. We need to improve efficiency, take small steps and run fast, and continuously make improvements bit by bit.

Lisa, the vice president of ESiC, said: “VINNO is an efficient and compact enterprise. The ESiC team has rich procurement strategic concepts and practical experience, and can share good external experiences with colleagues at VINNO. At the same time, by implementing the SRM system,VINNO is empowered. Low-value-added and repetitive tasks are entrusted to the SRM system, leaving more time for procurement to think about business value.”

Finally, General Manager Gao stated: “Preparation is better than performance.” One should pay attention to the time for sharpening the knife. In the early stage, there should be sufficient time devoted to the analysis of requirements. He also encouraged the colleagues of VINNO to actively express their requirements and proactively raise the difficulties and pain points in business operations. First, write down their own thoughts and the functions they desire to achieve. Strive to realize that the system can empower business work, avoiding the awkward situation of simply cramming business operations into the system process.
